 “Why Ohio State?”

There were a number of aspects that drew me to The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center! The health system is a leader in healthcare with a residency program designed to build a foundation of excellence through robust clinical experiences. I admired the clinical rigor of the program as I knew it would help me expand and refine my clinical knowledge in the ever-changing healthcare environment. To be an excellent pharmacy leader, I wanted to first hone the skills as an excellent clinician. I was also eager to participate in the diverse administrative rotations offered at Ohio State. Furthermore, I was excited about obtaining a MS in Health-System Pharmacy Administration to supplement my clinical knowledge with an understanding of managerial, financial, and organizational aspects of health-system pharmacy. I knew that I couldn’t go wrong with a city that offered so many great restaurants in addition to the strong residency program!
