MS in Health-System Pharmacy Administration

Completion of a MS in Health-System Pharmacy Administration Residency requires a 2 year commitment in which the successful candidate will complete a PGY1 residency, a PGY2 residency and earn a Masters Degree in Health-System Pharmacy. The PGY2 portion of the residency builds upon competence in the delivery of patient-centered care and in pharmacy operational services to prepare graduates who can assume high level managerial, supervisory, and leadership responsibilities. Areas of competence emphasized during the program include safe and effective medication-use systems, quality assurance, management of human resources, financial resources, use of technology, and advanced leadership. The degree is offered by The Ohio State University and the residency portion of the program can either be completed in a Health-System setting or a Community setting.
