“Why did I choose to complete a residency?”

I chose to complete a residency to learn and grow in an environment where I am challenged as well as supported by fellow pharmacy residents, preceptors, and the leadership. Not only did I want to further my leadership skills, but my clinical knowledge. An individual with a strong background in pharmacotherapy and team-based patient care will be more adapted for leadership within health-system pharmacy, as this teamwork is imperative throughout your career. 

 “Why Ohio State?”

I chose The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center for the people and the mentorship they provide. It is evident the Pharmacy Residents are a valued group within the OSU family, which does not change following completion of the residency. The extensive alumni network allows residents to make connections throughout the country, sharing their experiences and knowledge to further advance the profession. The Health-System Pharmacy Administration Residency at The Ohio State University is a legacy that will only continue to grow, providing unparalleled opportunities for their residents.
