“Why did I choose to complete a residency?”

I wanted to complete a residency in order to learn at a higher level while practicing among other immaculately intelligent health care professionals. A residency allows you to have a unique opportunity to see multiple facets of pharmacy and gain experience in them to become a broadened practitioner while. Another key aspect of residency is the interprofessional communication and interactions that exists  between the different professions and subspecialties that allows a resident to see the gain a different perspective.

 “Why Ohio State?”

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is an extremely advanced health system that is practicing at the top of the curve. We have the opportunity to see new treatments, procedures, and techniques that may not be happening elsewhere. The culture among the staff at the hospital offers a dynamic that is unmatched in how friendly and well put together everyone is. Columbus is also a beautiful and rapidly growing city with no shortage of fun activities to partake in.
