Claire Murphy

Claire Murphy, PharmD, BCPS, is the lead specialty practice pharmacist for critical care for the The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center with a clinical practice site in the surgical ICU and American Burn Association (ABA) verified burn center. She graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with her BS in Molecular Biology, and subsequently focused for several years on bench research within molecular biology and genetics.  Claire then returned to school at the St. Louis College of Pharmacy to obtain her PharmD and stayed in St. Louis to complete an ASHP accredited PGY1/PGY2 Pharmacotherapy residency at Barnes-Jewish Hospital.

 

Claire is active within clinical research and several professional organizations, having founded and chaired the Pharmacy Special Interests Group within the ABA, and served on the ABA Research Committee and the SCCM Membership Committee.
