Why did I choose to complete a residency?

I decided to pursue residency because I recognized the value in pursuing additional clinical training prior to taking my first job. Residency training provides the experiences necessary for a pharmacist to become the best clinician possible and to be able to practice at the top of their license.

Why Ohio State?

I chose to pursue the Health System Pharmacy Administration (HSPA) Residency Program at The Ohio State Wexner Medical Center for three reasons. First, the strong emphasis on both clinical and leadership experiences. Second, the extensive history and legacy of this program. OSU has been training HSPA residents for almost 60 years, and facilitates interactions between current residents and alumni of the program. And lastly, the people. Residency can be challenging. Having co-residents, preceptors, and leaders at the hospital who are invested in your growth and support you along your journey can make all the difference.
