Why did I choose to complete a residency? I’m completing a pharmacy residency to challenge myself and prepare for a career in ambulatory care. I want to make a meaningful impact by advocating for my patients and helping them understand their health. This residency builds my skills in close patient collaboration, especially in managing their health and medications, and I’m committed to exploring every avenue to improve access to healthcare and medication guidance. My drive stems from a genuine desire to empower patients in their healthcare journey, helping them make informed decisions, while I continue to grow professionally and personally with each experience.
Why OSU? I chose OSUWMC because it was obvious that the mentorship and culture within the pharmacy residency program was strong. I felt confident that I would gain exposure to a wide variety of specialties and circumstances that would push me, all while having the support to navigate it. Working with pharmacists that not only care about me as a resident, but as a person, makes me feel welcome and cultivates an environment I am comfortable learning in.
