Why did I choose to complete a residency?

I chose to complete a residency to further build upon my clinical knowledge and to challenge myself in an integrated learning experience. A PGY2 in ambulatory care will allow me the opportunity to be involved in direct and longitudinal patient care alongside other members of the health care team.

 Why Ohio State?

I was first drawn to Ohio State for the people. There is a great sense of community and a large network of colleagues and mentors that supports this program. Ohio State also allows autonomy of pharmacists that is not often seen anywhere else. This has allowed pharmacists to integrate into numerous specialties, which was the type of learning experience that I was looking for.
