Why I did I choose to complete a residency?
Residency training provides a large blanket of experiences that extends the foundational training provided as a pharmacy student. In the Health-System Pharmacy Administration Program, residents are provided opportunities to advance management, leadership, as well as clinical skills with direct involvement in projects, department operations, and patient care. Residency training develops the skills necessary to be a successful clinical leader in today’s health care setting, and provides meaningful networking opportunities and mentorships that will last throughout a career.
Why Ohio State?
The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center has a well-established administrative residency program that has a long standing legacy for its networking and learning opportunities. This program provides future leaders the ability to work alongside skilled and passionate pharmacy administrators who challenge residents to reach their full potential. Residents are also able to develop themselves clinically with a variety of rotations with clinical practice experts. Finally, this residency program promotes a strong bond between co-residents as mentors and long lasting friends.
