“Why did I choose to complete a residency at Ohio State?”

 I choose to complete a residency to have more experiences in a variety of different areas as a licensed pharmacist. With interests in transitions of care, ambulatory care, and general medicine; I wanted more opportunities to learn and grow from preceptors and mentors with expertise in individual disease states. Residency has given me those possibilities as well as opportunities to strengthen my research and teaching skills as I continue to strengthen as a professional. Ohio State was an easy choice for residency due to our countless opportunities, variety of out-patient clinic settings, well-defined pharmacist roles, room for expansion and research, as well as, a supportive team to accomplish all of these goals.
