“Why did I choose to complete a residency?” There are many reasons I chose to complete a community-based PGY1 residency. Residencies allow us to grow into confident practitioners by challenging us as leaders and practitioners. Residencies provide the opportunity to drive-forward and grow the profession through innovative research and service development.

“Why Ohio State?” The Ohio State University Pharmacy Residency Program is known for its leadership in patient care, teaching, and research.  As a large residency program with 40+ residents we have an amazing opportunity to network and learn from residents practicing in a variety of settings. The Ohio State Pharmacy Residency Program spans from administration, to oncology, to critical care, to ambulatory and community practice, and many more. Through the many resources available at a large academic institution, to the amazing faculty and practitioners, Ohio State is able to provide many unique opportunities in practice, teaching, and research.
