“Why did I choose to complete a residency?”

I chose to complete a residency because I am passionate about the impact of the health-system pharmacist in optimizing patient care. As a new pharmacist, I could not imagine beginning my pharmacy career without this opportunity to gain the knowledge, skills, and experiences to allow me to practice at the top of my license.

 “Why Ohio State?”

I chose to complete the PGY1/2 Health-System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership residency program at The Ohio State University due to its legacy as a leader in health-system administration, emphasis on strong clinical development, and opportunities in innovation and research. Choosing Ohio State also means choosing to be a part of a community that is bigger than yourself. Not only is Columbus is an incredible place to live, but it is filled with incredibly kind people. After completing my undergraduate and pharmacy school at The Ohio State University, I could not imagine a better place to complete my residency training. Go bucks!
