Crystal Tubbs

Crystal Tubbs, PharmD, FASHP, is an Associate Director of Pharmacy for The Ohio State University (OSU) Medical Center. She graduated from Ohio Northern University with a PharmD Degree and subsequently completed a PGY1 Residency at The Ohio State University Medical Center. Upon the completion of her residency, Crystal served as the Medication Utilization Evaluation Coordinator for the OSU Health-System.  Crystal currently holds an appointment as Clinical Assistant Professor at the OSU College of Pharmacy, where she is also a member of the Division of Pharmacy Practice and Administration and a member of the PharmD Committee. Crystal serves as the Residency Program Director for the ASHP accredited PGY1 residency program at OSU in addition to serving as Interim Director of all residency programs at The Ohio State University. In addition, Crystal has administrative responsibility for the critical care, antimicrobial stewardship and drug information teams. Finally, Crystal has primary responsibility for the fiscal and contractual management of UH in addition to leading medication cost savings efforts within the Department.

Crystal is also active in professional organizations, having served as treasurer and past president for the local chapter of the Ohio Society of Health-Systems Pharmacists (OSHP).  Outside my Buckeye world of pharmacy, my second full time job is the mother of 3 wonderful & rambunctious kiddos (1 daughter and 2 sons). My other hobby is photography and digital scrapbooking.  I enjoy capturing the innocent and everyday memories of our lives through pictures and thoroughly enjoy the beautiful books that “Shutterfly” helps me create!
